Effective Date: July 16, 2026
Marry Me Juliet ("MMJ", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Elevated Business Brands, LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains how Marry Me Juliet collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the MMJ platform and Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge this Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, including certain identity-verification, biometric, precise-location, sensitive-information, or optional-cookie processing, we will request that consent separately.
We use your personal information to:
The Services are a discovery platform, so much of your profile is visible to other users — including your photos, videos, bio, interests, location (City, State, Country), age, verification badges, and your compatibility assessment questions and answers (for example, in match-comparison and "deep dive" views), which other users can view before any mutual match. Real names and certain sensitive fields are generally withheld until a mutual match, but no privacy control is perfect. Once your personal information has been shown to another user, we cannot control and are not responsible for how that user may copy, screenshot, store, share, or redistribute it. Please do not share anything you are not comfortable being seen by others.
Marry Me Juliet is built on real, marriage-minded connections. To keep the platform authentic and safe, your verified legal first name (your "real" first name, as confirmed during identity verification) is automatically revealed to another member the moment you and that member become a mutual match.
A mutual match occurs when an application is accepted — for example: (a) you open an application window, receive an application from another member, and accept that application; or (b) you apply to another member's window and they accept your application. As soon as an application is accepted, both members' verified legal first names are shown to each other in the in-app messages/chat and on each other's profile and match cards.
Before a mutual match, your legal first name is withheld and a privacy-safe identity is shown instead. By creating an account and using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to the reveal of your verified legal first name to your mutual matches. Once your legal first name has been shown to a match, we cannot control and are not responsible for how that member may view, copy, screenshot, store, share, or redistribute it. If you are not comfortable with your verified legal first name being revealed to your mutual matches, do not create an account or use the Services.
We share personal information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, including:
We use content-moderation service providers, including Sightengine, to analyze profile photos, profile videos, application-introduction videos, and other submitted media for prohibited or restricted content.
These providers may process the submitted media and related technical information and return classifications, confidence scores, or moderation flags. We use those results to prevent content from becoming visible, restrict or remove content, route content for additional review, address appeals, and enforce our Community Guidelines.
We treat these providers as service providers processing information on our behalf and require them to handle submitted information only for authorized service, security, and legal purposes.
We may disclose personal information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Marry Me Juliet, our users, or others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred to or shared with the other party as part of the transaction.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information based on the nature and sensitivity of the information involved.
These measures may include encryption, access controls, authentication protections, logging and monitoring, vendor-management procedures, data minimization, backup protections, and incident-response procedures, as appropriate to our systems and operations.
No security system, storage method, or transmission method is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee that personal information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost, or destroyed without authorization.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
When you permanently delete your MMJ account, we promptly remove your profile from user-facing areas of the active Services and begin the deletion process for personal information linked to your account, subject to the exceptions described below.
Deletion does not require us to recall personal information already shared with, shown to, copied, screenshotted, stored, or redistributed by other users or third parties, or to delete de-identified or aggregated information.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have the right to correct inaccurate personal information, appeal certain decisions, or use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
To submit a request, use the account settings where available or contact hello@marrymejuliet.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, confirm your authority, protect account security, and determine whether an exception applies. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.
We use Didit and other identity verification providers to verify identity, confirm age, prevent fraud, detect abuse, and maintain platform integrity.
As part of this process, our verification provider may process government-issued identification, selfies, facial images, liveness captures, biometric information, extracted identity data, device information, IP addresses, fraud signals, and verification outcomes.
Didit processes this information on our behalf to perform identity verification, fraud prevention, security, regulatory compliance, and related verification services. Their processing is governed by their own Privacy Policy and Verification Privacy Notice.
We use Sightengine and may use other content-moderation providers to analyze submitted photos and videos for nudity, sexual content, and other prohibited or restricted material. Depending on the integration, the provider may receive submitted media, technical metadata, and an account or media reference and may return classifications, confidence scores, and moderation flags.
Third-party services involved in authentication, payments, identity verification, analytics, and other platform functions may set or access cookies or similar technologies when their services are loaded. Our Cookie Policy describes the categories currently used and how users can manage optional technologies.
Marry Me Juliet is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. We implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to MMJ, California residents may have the rights described in this Section. MMJ may also choose to extend some or all of these controls to users even where the law does not require it.

To submit a California privacy request, use account settings where available or contact hello@marrymejuliet.com. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. MMJ will verify requests as required and may deny or limit a request where an exception applies.
If MMJ later begins selling or sharing personal information or uses sensitive personal information beyond legally permitted purposes, MMJ will update this Policy and implement the required opt-out or limitation controls before beginning that practice.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will apply prospectively from the effective date shown in the updated Policy. We will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate or required by law, including through the Services, by email, or through another available communication method.
