Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

Effective Date: July 16, 2026

Marry Me Juliet ("MMJ", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Elevated Business Brands, LLC.

This Cookie Policy explains how MMJ uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website, use our web application, or access related online Services. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

MMJ does not sell personal information and does not use cookies or similar technologies to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use cookies to track users across unaffiliated websites or applications for behavioral advertising.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small data files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, tags, pixels, and device or browser identifiers.

These technologies can help a service authenticate users, maintain security, remember preferences, process transactions, measure performance, prevent fraud, and understand how features are used.

2. Categories of Technologies We Use

Essential and Security Technologies

Always active

These technologies are necessary to provide requested features and operate the Services. They may be used to:

  • Authenticate users and maintain login sessions
  • Protect accounts and forms against unauthorized activity
  • Maintain platform security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Route traffic, balance system loads, and preserve technical stability
  • Remember choices necessary to complete a transaction or verification flow

Essential technologies cannot be disabled through MMJ's cookie controls because the Services may not function correctly without them. You may still block them through browser settings, but doing so may prevent signup, login, payment, verification, or other core features from working.

Functional Technologies

Preference

Functional technologies remember settings or choices that improve the user experience, such as interface preferences, search filters, display choices, and similar settings. Depending on the technology and applicable law, these may be treated as essential to a requested feature or offered as an optional preference.

Limited Analytics Technologies

Optional / if enabled

If enabled, MMJ may use limited analytics technologies to understand aggregate or operational information about how the Services are used, identify errors, evaluate feature performance, and improve the platform.

We do not use analytics technologies to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable law requires consent for optional analytics, those technologies will not be activated until the user makes an applicable choice.

Marketing and Cross-Site Advertising Technologies

Not currently used

MMJ does not currently use marketing cookies, advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or similar technologies to track users across unaffiliated websites or applications for behavioral advertising.

If this practice changes, MMJ will update this Policy, provide any legally required notice or choice, and implement the applicable consent or opt-out controls before activating those technologies.

3. Technologies Used by Service Providers

Service providers supporting authentication, hosting, payments, identity verification, security, communications, customer support, and optional analytics may set or access cookies or similar technologies when their services are loaded. Examples may include:

  • Supabase or another authentication and database provider, for secure login and session management
  • PayPal or another payment provider, for checkout, fraud prevention, and transaction security
  • Didit or another identity-verification provider, for identity, age, liveness, and fraud-prevention workflows
  • Analytics or error-monitoring providers, if enabled, for operational measurement and diagnostics

These providers process information according to their agreements with MMJ and their applicable privacy notices. The presence, names, and duration of provider technologies may change as their services and MMJ's implementation evolve.

4. Current Technology Inventory

MMJ maintains an accurate production inventory of the technologies in use, identifying the actual cookie or storage name, provider, purpose, category, and duration. We do not list technologies that are not actually set by the live MMJ application. Expected categories may include:

  • Authentication or session tokens: used to maintain a secure login; session-based or persistent for the configured login period
  • Security or anti-forgery tokens: used to protect forms and sessions; generally session-based or short-lived
  • Preference storage: used to remember interface or search choices; retained for the stated preference period or until cleared
  • Payment or verification session technologies: used during checkout or identity verification; duration is controlled by the applicable provider
  • Optional analytics identifiers: used only if analytics is enabled and, where required, after consent; duration must match the live provider configuration

A current cookie list may be displayed in MMJ's Cookie Settings interface or published as an updated schedule to this Policy.

5. Your Cookie Choices

Cookie Settings

Where optional technologies are used, MMJ will provide a Cookie Settings control that allows users to accept or reject available optional categories. Essential technologies remain active because they are required to provide and secure the Services.

Browser and Device Controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.

Third-Party Controls

Some service providers offer their own privacy or account controls. Those settings are governed by the provider and may be separate from MMJ's settings.

Global Privacy Control and Similar Signals

MMJ does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable law requires recognition of a valid opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, MMJ will treat the signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser or device.

Because MMJ does not currently engage in sale or cross-context behavioral-advertising sharing, receiving such a signal does not change MMJ's essential service, security, verification, payment, or first-party operational processing.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no universally accepted technical standard governing every use of that signal. MMJ instead follows applicable privacy laws, honors legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required, and provides the controls described in this Policy.

6. Data Retention

Cookie and similar-technology retention varies by purpose. Session technologies expire when the session ends or after a defined inactivity period. Persistent technologies remain until their configured expiration date, until they are replaced, or until the user clears them.

MMJ seeks to retain information collected through these technologies only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, including authentication, security, preferences, diagnostics, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and approved analytics.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, vendors, law, or MMJ's practices. Material changes will apply prospectively from the stated effective date.

If MMJ introduces a materially new optional cookie purpose requiring consent or opt-out rights, we will provide the required notice and controls before activating that purpose.
